LEXINGTON, Ky., Apr 05, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Arthritis Foundation has awarded The OriginalBed by Tempur-Pedic™ with its esteemed Ease-of-Use Commendation. This is the fifth Tempur-Pedic™ sleep system to be recognized with this prestigious honor.

The Arthritis Foundation's Ease-of-Use Commendation assesses the accessibility and ease of use of everyday products by allowing arthritis patients to evaluate products and rate their usability. Each product must pass a series of evaluations completed by a group of people with arthritis with varying degrees of functional ability. Participants in the Tempur-Pedic evaluation had symptoms ranging from mild to severe osteoarthritis or degenerative arthritis.
