March 1, 2002 (Lexington, Ky) Tempur-Pedic, Inc., the Lexington-based purveyor of the world-renowned Tempur-Pedic mattress and Swedish Sleep SystemTM, is placing a gift certificate for a mattress (size of choice) in every coveted presenter's goodie basket at this year's 74th Annual Academy Awards®.
The annual ceremony, which will be held on March 24, 2002 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA, is recognized for awarding the best and the brightest in the movie industry with the coveted gold Oscar statue, but the giving does not stop there. Each award presenter is given a basket, valued at $8,000, filled with highly sought after and luxurious items including the ultimate in comfort, a Tempur-Pedic® mattress, valued at up to $1,700.
