PUBLIC INVITED TO GRAND OPENING OF TEMPUR® PRODUCTION USA

March 11, 2002 (Lexington, Ky)  The grand opening of the new Tempur Production USA manufacturing plant in Duffield, Virginia has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2002.

The plant manufactures Tempur-Pedic mattresses and pillows.  The plant location in Duffield was announced on Sept. 27, 1999 by Governor James S. Gilmore and began full production in September of 2001.  Tours of the 300,000 square-foot plant will be provided.  The public is invited to attend.

Tempur Production is located at 4700 Boone Trail Road South in Duffield, Virginia.

Tempur-Pedic^® products are sold around the world.  The company's corporate offices are in Lexington, KY.
